SHAWL has remained opened throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to
serve women seeking assistance. SHAWL follows all safety protocols set forward to keep
both clients and employees as safe as possible. All staff members and volunteers have

been vaccinated. In addition, hourly disinfection takes place in high touch areas, air
purifiers are placed throughout the facility, and temperature checks for employees and
clients are taken several times during the day. Mask wearing, and social distancing is
also practiced in the facility. SHAWL continues to follow all procedures set forth for the
safety of clients and employees.
